As I sit here at my desk, the sunlight that is now streaming through my window and warming and brightening every surface reminds me of you. Most things remind me of you in one way or another. الصباح رسالة تطمينية من الولايات المتحدة إلى سوريا تتعهد بها بعدم الاعتداء على الأراضي السورية مجددا.. هذا ما أعلنه مصدر دبلوماسي سوري في تصريح له للصحافة, أكّد فيه تلقي هذه الرسالة عن طريق الجانب العراقي, و اعتبر فيه انتصار للمنطق و الحق القائل بأنه عدوان غاشم لا يمكن أن يكون له تبرير ما. لا أنكر ذلك, لا يوجد تبرير من أي نوع, و لكن هل يكفي التعهد بعدم الرد كمخدّر؟ هل يا ترى يتم -

Sustainable Development

Well well well.. uhmm.. its been ages since I last wrote anything here, but here I am back again, I know people missed me and stuff but life is tough, deal with it!
Anyways, sustainability, something I stumbled on I believe it was during April of this year when I first saw the youtube video of the Masdar Initiative in Abu Dhabi which I posted earlier on this blog. Since then my interest only grew and I am currently doing a postgraduate degree in this miracle called sustainability! But I really do think that everyone in the middle east ... -

Apparently this Somali piracy issue has only become a problem since 2005, around the time that somebody started supplying the men with fast white speedboats. There is probably some truth to this, and somebody is probably making a lot of money out of this, so the actual pirates are getting only a fraction of the takings. Still, there are huge sums of money being paid in ransoms, lots of good which are being stolen and I'm not so sure I understand how well these goods are being sold in a country with practically no infrastructure. الفرنسي : يغني مع العصفور ويقلد صوته
الاسباني : يرقص على أنغام صوت العصفور
الايطالي :يرسم هذا العصفور على لوحة كبيرة
الهندي :يقوم بعبادة هذا العصفور وتقديسه
الصيني : يأكل هذا العصفور
الانكليزي : يطلق النارعليه
الياباني : يصنع عصفور الكتروني يماثل هذا العصفور بالشكل والحجم ويصنع جهاز لترديد نغمة هذا العصفور
اليهودي : يبدأ بالبكاء ثم يقوم بالمطالبة ... -

I've had the chance to do this in Turkey. I was laughing sooooo hard. It's weird lol. They all charge at you and the mere idea of little creatures all over your skin ughh! I was tickled by them loool... Would I do it again? sure, why not. I love the whole idea of treating self "naturally". -

، عمو تبع المصافاة يقول انه السبب تعطيل المصفاة يوم الجمعة وانه سوف تحل مشكلة خلال ٣ ايام

٣ اياميعني مشكلة متل هيك بس ٣ ايام يعني ٣ ايام ضمنيا اسبوع ، بنزين شحيح و دور على المحطات برفع الضغط و ازمة سير ، و سيارات بتطفي بالشارع وعالم فايته بالحيط

Ayman Haykal [Ar] links to a report published on Haaretz that says the Israeli cellular provider, Cellcom, made a profit of approximately 400.000 shekels per month this year from the Syrian soap opera, Bab El Hara (Neighborhood Gateway).
